Since time immemorial, the regional flavours from the provinces of China have exuded authenticity like no other with Cantonese, Sichuan and Hunan delicacies among many others. Mainland China has owed its great culinary relishes to the traditional preparations from China, in terms of fresh ingredients, authentic sauces and novel cooking styles. With the evolving times, changing preferences and the acceptance of conventional flavours in India and overseas, it became necessary to go beyond the old preparations and incorporate newer and more eclectic concepts.
The New Menu is largely inspired by the amalgamation of untapped Asian flavours including specialities
from Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, tweaked to soothe the Indian palette.
From dumplings infused with flavours of Edamame and Truffle oil, lemongrass and spices to appetizers and main course boasting of an aromatic range of sauces including Korean Chilli, Mild Ginger, Dragon Chilli, Lemongrass & Cilantro, it caters to preferences of the guests all across the country. With people now embracing Japanese flavours, our dishes have improvised on the sumptuous Teriyaki and Tempura preparations. After considerable in house research into the origin and preparation, MLC has also introduced its one of a kind Smoked Chilli Sauce to give smoked textures and a wide gradation of tastes.
In addition, with the younger generation being the target audience for finer cuisines, the chef has curated more organic and health-beneficial items such as the Shanghai Style Baked Fish, Steamed Chinese Greens, Braised Chicken, Stir Fried Vegetables in Thai Basil among many others.
Some of the key dishes to try out are Lemongrass Prawn Siu Mai, Japanese Wheat Noodles, Steamed Vegetables in Smoked Chilli Sauce, Sichuan Vegetable and Chicken Claypot, Spiced Tofu Dumplings, Lemongrass Vegetables with fresh Cilantro, Dynamite Prawns as well as the Zucchini Spring Rolls.
