Cake Art & Christmas Cheer @ 42nd Annual Cake Show, Bangalore

To be truthful I have never attended a Cake Show in Bangalore ever and would have not given the article in the newspaper a second glance if not for the interest showed by my kids.

So my hubby and kids kind of dragged me to this cake show and I must say I was quite impressed with the cakes on display and the effort gone into the replication process.

A few titbits about the show:

• This show is in its 42nd Year and has the distinction of being the largest Cake Show in India.
• This year (2016) it was held at St.Joseph’s School grounds.
• The show was designed and conceptualised by 76 year old Mr. C. Ramachandran and his team. Mr.Ramachandran is a veteran cake artist and baker.
• He was supported by Manish Gaur – Director, Institute of Baking & Cake Art, a pioneer in Baking, Confectionery and Cake Art Technology.
