Comics & Brekkie @ Cafe Terra
Want to unwind on a lazy Sunday morning for a slow and relaxed breakfast then this is the place to head too.
Cafe Terra is new to Indira Nagar and after pleasing the taste buds of foodies in Koramangala then have recently opened up in the quiet sidelanes of Indira nagar.
I had just completed a run at the other end of Bangalore but the thought of trying out this place made me drive here in spite of my exhaustion.
The cafe is unassuming to a passerby but once you enter its seems like you have entered a bookstore in the 90’s – such is the charm of this place.
The walls are lined with images of different comics of all kinds and this store..oops..I meant cafe would be your home if you are a comic lover.
Other than the comics, the ambience is also pleasing with seating available on the ground floor and the first floor.
I dropped in here with a friend and we ordered for Full English breakfast and Moroccan Chakchouk.

The English Breakfast was loaded with eggs (scrambled), bacon, sausages, grilled tomato, baked beans, hash browns, mashed potato and toasted bread.
I know it seemed like a lot, but I was ravenous and it disappeared in a matter of minutes. The highlights of the meal was the bacon which was perfectly done, not too crisp nor too soft. The eggs were also prepared well though a little more salt would have made it perfect. The sausages felt like less (just one piece cut into 2).

The Moroccan Chakchouk was something new to both of us and hence it was more of an experimental order.
The baked dish consisted of bell peppers, green chillies, onions and tomatoes topped with cheese and egg.The dish tasted good but was too spicy for me though it was thoroughly enjoyed by my friend.
The staff is very accommodating and we managed to get some comics over before and after our meal and lounged about for over an hour.
Cafe Terra is one of the nicer places in Indira Nagar to drop in for a hearty breakfast and of course your dose of comics!
