What a name Wok Paper Scissors, it does grab one’s attention along with the bright orange colour and corner location.

Though a regular in this area, to save my life I cannot remember what used to be here before but now this outlet occupies 2 floors of the corner area.

I have tried out food from Wok outlets overseas and the concept is catching up here in Bangalore pretty fast with more than 2 such outlets opening up in the last few weeks.
To start with you need to decide if you are going for a small box Rs.89/- (I suggest this if you are not ravenous!) or a large box Rs.119/-.

Step 1 – Now comes the mains where you are given an option of fresh noodles, Udon noodles, Rice noodles or Steamed rice. If you are a bit confused, no worries coz they have that covered too with samples of all these options in small glass containers to help you make your decision. Smart arent they?

Step 2 – Decide your sides  and there are some healthy options here such as Broccoli, Tofu, Bok Choy, Zucchini and few more. For the non-vegetarians they also have Chicken and Fish at an extra cost of Rs.20 ( Yep just 20 bucks) and Prawns at Rs.30.

Step 3 – Obviously the sauce makes all the difference and they have some mild, medium and hot options.
After going through the entire process, I ordered for 2 large containers – one with noodles and the other with rice. For the noodles, the additions were tofu with all the veggies and teriyaki sauce. For the rice, tried out chicken and veggies with Crispy garlic sauce.
The teriyaki sauce was a bit too sweet and they seemed to add a little too much sauce as it lands up occupying 1/4th of the container at the bottom. The crispy garlic sauce though mentioned at ‘hot’ turned out to be a just the right amount of spice (for me!) though here too I could not finish the rice at the bottom as it was floating in sauce. The food as a whole was tasty and the veggies were fresh and crunchy!
They also have some sides and we ordered for plate of thai crispy prawns which were served at our table. They also have a few beverages such as Iced tea, Coke etc.

Their pricing is definitely one of the reasons they have such a good crowd in addition to the fact they are a hop, skip and jump from JNC.
Definitely enjoyed my first visit here and plan to drop by to try out their other types of noodles and sauces!
