Places to Explore When You’re in the United States

No traveler will miss the opportunity to explore the United States! The scenic coastlines, tourist attractions, natural wonders, active nightlife – the United States, cater to every kind of travelers. Have you been planning to visit the U.S in the recent times? Here are ten places you could visit on your tour.

  1. Yosemite

Do parks delight you? And do you also love to hike? If yes, then this could be your best pick. Yosemite is famous for its national parks and the longest waters that North America could provide you. The Glacier Point and Yosemite Falls are must visits. Make it a point to visit the elite The Majestic Yosemite Hotel and explore the vaulted dining space.

  1. Hawaii

Hawaii has a happy vibe to it! If you are all in for the sunny skies and serene sandy beaches, Hawaii is the best place to explore. The Kuhio Beach in Waikiki is perfect for travelers who love surfing. July is the ideal month to travel. Avoid Hawaii during Christmas time as the travel and hotel rates will be high.

  1. Lexington

Does horse racing excite you? If yes, make sure you are at Lexington. Known as the Horse Capital, Lexington is the best place for both equestrians and horse lovers. Make sure you explore the Churchill Downs racetrack and the Keeneland Race Course. Browse through the TVG site as you make plans to be there at these horse tracks.

  1. New Orleans

Do you love cultural variety? New Orleans will be the best choice for you then. You’ll fall in love with the Latino, African, Irish, Cajun, and French elements. From the much talked about Jazz Festivals to the tourist places, New Orleans has everything vibrant to provide you.

  1. Idaho

If you’re planning to explore Idaho, make sure you explore the Ketchum and the Sun Valley. That’s America’s first Dark Sky Reserve and deserves a visit. If you love to ski, make sure you say yes to the Sun Valley skiing experience without fail.

  1. The British Virgin Islands

Nature lovers would not miss the chance to explore the British Virgin Islands. This Caribbean wonder with its sixty islands is all about exclusivity and lavishness.

  1. Northern Carolina

If you love wine, be there in North Carolina. Opt-in for the Napa Valley Train Wine and say yes to the exquisite gourmet dining. Winery tours combine wine tasting sessions amidst a natural backdrop that appeals to the eye and heart. Places to explore include Livermore, Lodi, Mendocino, and Sonoma.

  1. Costa Rica

If you want to be surrounded by nature, Costa Rica is the best choice. You will find this to be a complete retreat amongst the volcanic mountains, wildlife reserves, beaches and the tropical rainforests. Be there at the Nicoya Peninsula during your vacation.

  1. New York

Be there in the city that’s forever awake. You can’t explore everything in New York in one visit. But on your stay make sure you visit the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and also taste the delicious platters in Chinatown.

The United States has plenty of things to do and places to explore. You may want to add other places to explore as well. But if you’re visiting the United States for the first time, you can explore a combination of these places.

Honestly, everyone try to show US by keeping New York as a centre. You have shown it by keeping its scenic beauty at centre. My trip to US will be planned around this post.

New York and Hawaii are on my travel wishlist too. We might also visit Florida once as we have a little kid and Disneyland Florida is one of the best places to visit with kids.
