Unlimited Pizza Fridays @ Pizza Hut

Say Pizza and almost everyone’s eye light up so imagine my reaction when I heard about the All You Can Eat Unlimited Pizza Fridays by Pizza Hut India! Yeah you read it right!

To launch this Unlimited Pizza Fridays offer, a few bloggers were invited for a pizza eating competition. The rules were to eat as many slices of pizza within 45 mins without wasting a crumb. The winner gets a supply of unlimited pizzas from Pizza Hut for a whole year!

Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise founded in 1958.

They are well known for their Italian-American cuisine menu including pizzas and pastas, as well as side dishes and desserts. The company has more than 16,000 locations worldwide and is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., one of the world’s largest restaurant companies.

For this event we visited the new outlet in Phoenix Market City, Whitefield. I never realized there was any area left on the 2nd floor of the mall to accommodate another food outlet and I was quite surprised to see a reasonably spaced stand alone outlet opened up here. The decor is as in most of their outlets, all about their pizzas, simple and minimalistic.

Though I love pizza, I can barely eat more than 3 slices hence I nominated my hubby to participate on my behalf with my son along as the cheering squad. The little fella was more excited than all the bloggers and participants present there!

The number of pizzas getting ready was a pleasure to watch and though not participating I was already drooling!

The hostess for the event got the participants, cheering mates and even bystanders excited and thus it began.

I did not think that anyone could eat pizza for 45 mins but these guys took it to a whole new level with the winner eating 15 slices of pizza. A close second with 13 slices each were 2 other gentlemen and my hubby (read proud!).

Hey, it’s PIZZA. Pizza is after all Forever!

So if you love eating Pizza, then be sure to head over to your nearest Pizza Hut outlet in your city and eat to your hearts content.
